Forum Topic of the Week, April 8th

It was a slow week here at DanBirlew.com. That is, until I tried to upgrade the forums using a single-sign-in plugin that turned out to be faulty, and ended up destroying the entire forum database. But I fixed the forums using a database backup from a few days ago, losing only a post or two in the process.

Prior to the crash, the forum discussion that was doing really well and gaining the most posts this week was TV on DVD- What are you watching/wish to watch and how’s it working for you? Started by @Jayne, this topic features a discussion of watching television shows on DVD as opposed to, say, on television, on the actual air date. With TV on DVD and the spread of DVRs, does anyone really watch television shows when they first air anymore?
