Cookies alone tell us nothing about who you are unless you specifically give us personally identifiable information, in which case we use the information in the ways described below. By adjusting your settings on your browser, you may elect not to allow cookies to be collected.

This website uses standard internet traffic tracking technologies that allows the main administrator and host of this site to track general user-traffic patterns. Unless you have registered for one of our services, the information we gather through the use of tracking technologies cannot be matched with any personally identifiable information about you. And in the case of one lazy strategy guide author, visitor IP information is rarely matched to subscriber data.

We use cookies and tracking technologies in a variety of ways, including:

  • Keeping count of return visits to our site or subdomain sites;
  • Accumulating and reporting anonymous, aggregate (data collected in mass), statistical information on Web-site usage;
  • Determining which features our overall user population likes best.

We do not allow other companies or parties to use tracking technology on your computer. We do not give any personally identifiable information to any outside party. At no time is your personal data stored on the host server of this web site. All information submitted to the web site via any of our customer interaction forms is transmitted immediately to the home computer of the main administrator. We follow this practice in order to prevent “spammers” from stealing our members’ information.

3. How does DanBirlew.com use the information?
We use the information we gather for two general purposes:

  • Forum registration;
  • Visitor counting and tracking.

We do this for purely promotional purposes, in the nature of congratulating you in your happy moment. In other words, we will say “Jonathan D. has won a signed strategy guide”, etc. Your mailing address information will be provided to the United States Postal Service or United Parcel Service in order to send your prize to you. Nothing more about you will be revealed to any other outside party.
