Deadly Premonition on Pre-sale in UK

Those in the UK who’ve been publicly gnashing their teeth and berating Ignition Entertainment for not releasing Deadly Premonition in the UK can now be at peace; the game appears to be available for pre-order for £24.99, although you can find it for £17.99 on some websites, such as hmv.com:

hmv.com shows Deadly Premonition shipping to UK on 9-17-10

Though the date has yet to be confirmed, hmv.com lists the item as releasing on 9-17-10. The game will be published by Rising Star Games instead of Ignition Entertainment, which may explain why the UK release has taken so long.

Seems our British friends will soon be enjoying all the mayhem of driving cars that won’t turn 90°, having breakfast with an old deaf lady, divining the day’s events from the creamer in your coffee, talking to imaginary people who aren’t there, and more. Plus there’s the endless number of restless souls who alternately beg you to kill them and not to kill them, and a purple fog that takes over the entire town from midnight until 6am every day. Have fun finding all those bones in the woods and pushing crates around in Lily’s storage room!
